Sounds like the original thing needs to percolate some. :) I think you'll find a good character for your world.
I'm still wavering a little on my upcoming Camp project, too. I know what it'll be (rewriting an old fic), but not sure what my wordcount goal will be.
7-point story structure sounds interesting. I don't know that I would enjoy using it (I HATE writing non-linearly), but I can see it making a story tie together really well in the end!
I love when I discover something that helps an existing project. Feels very meant to be! I hope you do enjoy getting back to the Castlevania fic! Distance can do wonders.
